2019 Annual Conference Scholarship Application

Purpose: The AEM Annual Conference Scholarship is a way for the Association and our industry to grow opportunities in all demographics including gender, race/ethnicity and age. With more than 500 attendees, the AEM Annual Conference is a premier place to network and build lasting relationships.

Award Criteria (only need to meet one to be eligible):

• Women in the industry
• Future leaders under 40
• Multicultural

*Awarded to people who have never attended with their current company /or whose company has not attended the conference in the past 3 years.

Full Scholarship:

Awarded to people who have never attended and/or whose company has not attended the conference in the past 3 years.

• Conference registration: $1,590
• $500 credit for airfare
• Three nights hotel stay, with a value of roughly: $1,019

Partial Scholarship:

Awarded to people whose companies have three or more paid registrants, thus allowing them to expand company representation by one more individual.

• Conference registration: $1,590

*Chosen applicants may be required to briefly participate in the opening of the conference.

Selection Process:

• Company leadership should nominate candidates that match the defined criteria (female, under 40, diverse in race/ethnicity) to Helen Horner at hhorner@aem.org.
• Candidates may also self-nominate
• The Annual Conference Team, AEM Senior Leadership and the AEM Membership Team will review applications.
• Priority will be given to those that submitted first.
